Kwiambal (NSW)
|
| | Location | Lower Severn River, Fraser Creek, and Ashford. This may have been only a large hordelike group, but its range is of tribal size for the area and the -bal suffix has precedents to the east and north. These people were perhaps the Yukumba (Jukambal) speakers met by Ridley a day's journey north of Warialda in 1855. |

Please be aware that much of the data relating to Aboriginal language group distribution and definition has undergone revision since 1974. Please note also that this catalogue represents Tindale's attempt to depict Aboriginal tribal distribution at the time of European contact. |
