| | Location | Eastern shores of Van Diemen Gulf, north of Murgenella Creek and about Cooper Creek; south toward East Alligator River. Berndt and Berndt (1951) list this tribe twice under different spellings; it is possible that their Ngamurak form would be the better rendering, but in 1964 they gave preference to Amurag. |
