'Notes and Vocabulary of the Dieri Tribe'

 

A two-page typescript by FX Martin describing some customs of the Dieri, their boundaries, neighbouring groups, related dialects, and history and personnel of Killalpaninnia Lutheran Mission. The notes also refer to the Dieri vocabulary given to Martin by Rev. CA Meyer, a teacher and minister at Killalpaninnna Mission (see AA 215 Meyer Collection).

Two letters containing information about Aboriginal groups in the Cooper's Creek (SA) region. The first is from WJ Woolley to Martin [presumably FX Martin], dated 11 January 1933; the second from FX Martin to Norman B Tindale (see AA 338), dated 23 February 1935.
