| Description | This series comprises six black and white (b/w) photographs relating to Rev. Sexton's work amongst Australian Aboriginal people. Rev. Sexton was Secretary of the Aborigines' Friends' Association for 31 years and subsequently served as President of the Association. The photographs cover the period 1930 to 1932, and include his farewell tour of 1932. They were probably taken by Ernest E Kramer (see AA 669). The prints are stored unmounted in a binder titled 'AA 1 Aborigines' Friends' Association (AFA) Photographic Prints, Album 4 of 4'. South Australian Museum archivist Kay L Mead described this series in 1980. In her listing she recorded a caption for this series but the exact source of the caption is not known. This caption has been retained as the 'Series Title' and has been listed in the 'Details' field of the inventory along with all annotations and ink stamps found on the prints. All place names and proper names from the annotations and caption have been indexed. The series was part of Acc. No. 86. This series contains references to: Northern Territory.
